Security Clearance
Security restrictions for foreigners are only applicable on the Anti Lebanon Trail. All Lebanese hikers who wish to hike the BLT Anti Lebanon Trail must obtain a security pass from the Lebanese Army. This procedure usually requires 7 working days. The Boukaat Loubnan Trails can assist you with the clearance, and you will be allowed to enter provided that you are accompanied with a BLT guide.

Although it is generally safe, the BLT, like any other trail in the world, is not without risks; Accidents can happen anywhere along any trail, even for experienced hikers. the BLT coordinators are not liable for any accidents that happen along the BLT.
