Trail Brief
This part of the journey begins at the Marjhine plain, which is a summer spot for farmers from the Hermel, Akkar, and Donniyeh districts. The trail is a mix of dirt roads and footpaths. Along the way, you'll come across a highland mosque and summer cottages, giving hikers a chance to connect with the friendly locals. The path then takes you to the lush Elleh forest in the Akkar district. We intentionally designed this part to be a bit challenging, so you can fully appreciate the stunning views of Wadi Johanam. What's more, this trail is seamlessly connected to Wadi Johanam, leading you toward the Qammamine Village.
